The New South Wales Reference and Information Services Group is a state wide group of public library staff who work in reference and information services.

This includes readers advisory, local studies and other specialist areas of reference and information services work.

The outcome of the work done by RISG is improved reference and information services for the public across NSW. Services which are appropriate, responsive and proactive.

How do we do this? By enhancing skills of NSW public library staff & exposing people to emerging ideas as well as local initiatives
